Overview
The Bartenders Workshop has been in the hospitality and events industry for more than 10 years, catering to the bar requirements of thousands of different events and functions during this time. In addition to providing a number of courses for aspiring bartenders, we cater to corporate and entertainment industry clients to provide mobile bars for their unique events.
Our staff members comprise 10 permanent employees and more than 200 casuals, and are trained and experienced in the art of bartending. These ones are committed to providing a fun, entertaining and always professional service, no matter the event or individual requirements. These ones are able to handle events of up to 10 000 people, while still providing a full cash bar.
Over the years, we have trained in excess of 8 000 bartenders. At any event, trained staff members from our extensive portfolio are employed to perform the following duties:
- Cocktails – our competent bar staff will prepare and serve a number of delicious, classic, modern, international and local cocktails for the crowd and guests to sample.
- Mixology – this is a session in which your guests will be able to interact with the bartender while they perform their cocktail presentation, giving it a personal, engaging feel.
- Flairtending – bartenders showcase their choreographed moves that include fire and flair routines.
- Standard Bar Operations – professional bartenders serve drinks and perform complete bar duties.
- Cash Bar Operations – this includes complete bar management service, including the handling of stock and cash.
All of our mobile bars are ergonomically designed to be practical, light to transport and ultimately stylish. Vinyl decals can be added to the bars to customise them for your specific event.
We cater to more than 50 of the country’s largest events, always upholding our principles of professionalism and expertise, while handling large stocks and massive amounts of money. We manage cash and / or hospitality bars at sports stadiums around South Africa, including Orlando Stadium, FNB Stadium, and Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium. We also have a stand at the acclaimed Cape Town International Convention Centre.
During the 2010 FIFA World Cup™, we managed bars at the various sporting events as well as at three different Fan Parks. We have also run bars at The Super 14™ Final and the Tri Nations™ competition.
